Name: Chivalry Status: On the Verge of Death

Yeah, you heard me right. Or rather, read it right.
Regardless...

Why is it that when everyone says anything that contains the word 'love', they only mean it as just that:a word?
Once upon a time, chivalry was all that many men and women smarter than I were about. But now, that same chivalry only exists in only a few people scattered about this world. I have to ask one question....

What happened to true chivalry, to true love? Where did it go?

It's not just one person that needs to revive chivalry, it's too big for any one person to handle. We ALL NEED to get it going again. Things like love and chivalry are anything but artificial, mechanical, or just trash to be thrown around.

"Songs" these days...

What's going on with music these days?
These days, all people seem to do is put song out that only appeal to the commercial part of the business. Not many
modern songs seem to have any meaning thsee days either. What happened?

And I know that some people might like this type of music, and I have nothing against them. But so much of this commercial tuneage has been listened to that they're surprised when they meet someone who listens to the older stuff.

You say Justin Bieber, I say Elvis Presley.
You say Owl City, I say Queen.
You say Eminem, I say The Beatles.
You say Ceelo Green, I say Michael Jackson.

I
Might get grilled for this, sure, but if that's what happens when I state my honest opinion, so be it.
Whatever music you listen to is your bag, but now you know why some people listen to the older stuff: there's actual meaning to it and no 2 artists are the same in how they use them. They're a bit more unique that way.
